This was like a 30 foot tall slide! I have never seen such a tall slide!!! We were suprised the boys weren't more scared! After their first time though they just kept going with no problems!

That was one TALL slide! I really wanted to go down, but I figured that wouldn't be the best idea after a c-section!

Our Night at the Fair!

Both Boys LOVE trains, so they were SO excited for this ride!!!

So it's the 100th Anniversary of the Madison County Fair, & becuase of that they had a bunch of neat things that they didn't normally have. Austen & I went Thursday night for our date (our main babysitter Rayanne had one night off so we snatched her, she is so great!) and we had alot of fun. I felt like a trader the whole time though becuase I knew how much fun the boys would be having! The great thing is that the fair is FREE to get into! (which is so great on a student family's budget!) and then Austen went & gave Plasma this week so we'd have a little spending cash to spend a few rides for the boys! It was so nice to get out with Austen. I also realized how very LONG it had been since we were able to do so! I love being with him, it reminded me alot of when we were dating! After his mission, one of the first dates we did was go to the fair! It was fun! :)

Anyway, I will be posting some awesome pics! The boys had so much fun, & it was a really nice little family outing that was long over due! I get so much joy out of watching my children laugh & be happy! It is one of the things that really fulfills me as a mother! :)

Brendan Austen Walden

Brendan is our oldest little boy! He wil turn four this Novermber, on the 23rd! He is such a good little boy, always willing to help out with his new baby brother! He asks to hold him about 100x a day & gives him lots of kisses on his cheeks & head! Brendan loves to sing "Twinkle twinkle Little Star" and "The Itsy Bitsy Spider". He knows all the words by himself & even sings on key! Very cute! Right now he is really into Super hero's. As you can see in this picture he is pretending to be superman and showing us his muscles! This red cape he is wearing was actually Austen's when he was a little boy. He told his mom he wanted to be Superman, & so she made him this little cute cape! It's in pretty good condition too! I thought it was so cute that he could pass it down to his boys! Brendan also loves to recite the Alphabet & be tested by us! He is getting really good at all the letters! He is a very sweet & considerate little boy, always worried about others' feelings. If he see's or senses that someone is unhappy, he will go to them & say, "oh, are you happy??" And if someone is crying, he will go to them & quietly start telling all the jokes he knows! It is so sweet how he looks out for others! He has a very gentle heart. He is a great big brother & he & Liamm are best little buddies! What would we do without our Brendan?!!

Liamm Sterling Walden

This is our little Liamm Sterling Walden! He just turned 2 years old on July 17th! He is such a little Mama's boy! Whenever he cries or gets hurt...he just wants Mommy! He has really grown up alot these past few months, & esp since we brought little brother Eli home! Right now, Liamm loves to hold Eli & give him slobbery kisses. When Eli cries Liamm will rush to his aid by trying shove any binky he can find in Eli's mouth (even if it's upside down) He will also try to help Mommy by grabbing me diapers when he see's me getting ready to change the baby (or smells it!) He says lots of new words ("cars" being his fav right now!) But then he also does this jabbery jibberish talk that is SO stinkin cute. He'll just come up to you & start jabbering about something that you have no idea what, but it all makes perfect sense to him! He loves to play outside on the trampoline with Brendan, and his favorite movies are anything Blue's Clues & Disney's Cars. Liamm is such a little joy to have around. He is very busy & always on the go, but he keeps things interesting for us here! He remains blonde & blue, and has darling curly hair if we ever let it grow (which we don't because too many poeple called him a girl...Austen didn't like that!!!) He used to HATE nursery & cry for me, but now he just decided he likes it & will go right in all by himself! (I used to wonder which was worse...when your kid can't wait to get in there & doesn't hardly say goodbye to you, OR when he refuses to go in & let go of you? Defintaley option #2!) Liamm is a happy little boy who we can't get enough of. He has a very distinct personality & id very confident. What did we ever do without him?!!! :)

They knew they were in big trouble, but I didn't know whether get upset or laugh at the same time! They were having such a good time too! This happened in the matter of time it took me to go to the back of the house & back! Never a dull moment!

So happy to have finally been handed my baby! That was something real hard for me...being on the operating table & not being able to hold my baby right away. Nothing compares!

That's our little Eli! He actually sleeps less than the other boys did, but he is just so quite & peaceable! The Lord must've know I'd really need that with baby #3!!!

Oh boy...we may just have a thumb sucker on our hands! Brendan & Liamm never did this?! It amazes me how they each come out with their own little traits & personalities! What a QT!

So this is one of Brendan's favorite things to do these days! I don't know where he even learned it either!? Lately he has been doing it & then saying, "now you do it Mommy" & he won't let it alone until I do!!!

Summer Fun 2009

The boys had so much fun on their slip N slide from Grandpa & Grandma! Brendan was fearless & ran right through it, but Liamm just wanted to stand at the sides & drink the water with his tongue stuck out, pretty much the whole time! He thought we said "sip" n slide! :)

This is one of the boys favorite things to do! It was even their idea to put the slide it! Liamm hardly ever went down it at first becuase the water was pretty cold, so Daddy had to get a 5 gallon bucket & fill it full of hot water from the bath tub! After that, we couldn't get them to come inside! It was just a little pool & we thought they may not find it too interesting becuase it was so small, but they loved it! It was so fun to watch them play & laugh!

Just a random pic of the boys playing with their cousins at Papa & Nana's at the Walden Reunion this year. (Brendan is on the red swing & Liamm is headed for the toy box, I tried to dress them alike that week so I could keep track of them amongst their 20 some odd other cousins!!)They always have so much fun there! The family reunion was wonderful, as usual! It was our first year we had to travel about 10 hours (with stops!) to get there! Now that was an adventure in & of itself, esp with me being 7 months pregnant!) but...we made it! We all had a blast. The boys played outside til it got dark pretty much every night!

They had way too much fun here! I especially loved it becuase it was right when all the lilacs were in full bloom & the smell was so yummy in the air! Lilacs are my 2nd favorite flower! (roses being first, of course!)

Like I said...little partners in crime!!!
