Utah

I am so happy to finally be back in Utah. I remember begging my parents to move us back so many times as a teenager. I really did want to go, but no I am actually thankful that they didn't listen to me then, becuase I never would've met my amazing husband, Austen Walden! I was born & raised here in Utah until I was 10 yrs old. My dad owned a business called Master Muffler in Brigham City when I was a little girl. He worked so hard. I remember him coming home & smelling like car grease, and now when I smell that, it's such a good memory! It smells good to me! My mom always stayed home with us. She always seemed to have something super fun planned for us. I was a pretty spoiled little girl, but not a brat (so she says!) I was the only girl for a while, so I'm sure that has lots to do with it! I have loved going shopping since I was 3! My mom said I was picking out matching outfits at Nordstrom since I was that age! I was also best friends with my siblings. Life was good. Now that I am back in Utah I am so excited to visit certain places that are a part of my childhood. To share them with my husband & children, and take my kids to the same places I played as a child. I love being able to do that. I love Utah. I love how beautiful it is here. I love the big protective mountains. They feel like ancient grandfather's watching out for me. Like nothing will be able to get in to harm me or my loved ones. I love the strength of the members here. You really can feel the strength of the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints here. The church is true no matter where you go, but when you are on Temple Square, there is just a feeling that is there that is like no other. Brigham Young really knew what he was saying when he said..."This is the place".
