I guess I need to "Blog" now!

So, now that I've had so much fun playing with & adding pictures, I guess I should "Blog:...since this is a blog! Anyway, I am going through MAJOR picture taking withdrawl!!! I went to catch a really cute pose of Eli 3 days ago, & my camera wouldn't even open or turn on?!! I thought it was the battery, but nope...it appears to be broken! AHHH! I don't know what to do with myself! I am SO mad, but also so down. Becuase I LOVE taking pics! (not that I don't already have enough!) But everytime I catch Eli almost sitting up, or the little boys doing something adorable, or see an amazing sunset (like on our walk Saturday) I get all excited & run for the camera....but then I realize I no longer have it?! Ahh! I guess it really puts things into perspective. Even though this is an earthly, material thing. it still makes me realize how thankful I should be for even the smallest things...like my camera sitting there, NOT broken!? It also makes me so thankful for something like a camera, that can capture some of the most precious things dear to us. That allows us to mark history, so we can look back & remember such good things, & then also pass things down to our generations. It may sound silly, becuase it's just a camera, but...it has a whole string of important things that go along with it. Soo...I'm trying latel to be more optomistic... try to get something possitive out of it rather than neggative...so... maybe this is just a GREAT opportunity for me to get caught up on organizing all my picture files etc, b4 I hit 1 million pics on my computer! (at least thinking that makes me feel a little better anyway!) So...we need to be grateful for what we have while we have it.....becuase we never know when one day might wake up...& our camera just won't work.

  1. Oh my goodness, I hear ya! My camera is a lifeline, it gives me a hobby, something I actually enjoy doing for me (those things are hard to come by). Hope you get yours fixed! Sure it's not the batteries? We use rechargables in ours and once I charged them but the camera still wouldn't work, but then it turned out to be the batteries that had died and just wouldn't charge...
